Chinese citizens holding a Master’s degree from a Chinese institution can apply for a China Scholarship Council (CSC) scholarship, see: https://www.csc.edu.cn/article/3167 (中国籍学生可申请中国留学基金委员会(CSC)奖学金).

Postdocs:

Prospective postdocs who are interested in applying for funding to support their research should contact Dan.

NZ citizens and/or applicants holding a NZ resident visa can apply for a four-year Rutherford Postdoctoral Fellowship from the Royal Society of New Zealand Te Apārangi.

Canadian citizens holding a degree from a Canadian institution can apply for a NSERC Postdoctoral Fellowship

Chinese citizens holding a PhD degree from a Chinese institution can apply for a China Scholarship Council (CSC) postdoc project, see: https://www.csc.edu.cn/article/2800 (中国籍博士可申请国家公派博士后项目).

 

EU citizens can apply for a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Global Fellowship.

German citizens can apply for the joint DAAD-Marie Curie scholarship

The joint Fulbright US Scholar Award is a potential option for US graduates to undertake a postdoctoral visit in New Zealand for three to five months. 

Students holding a Chemistry Bachelor's: 

 

Students who are interested in joining the group should contact Dan. Options include:

 

1. Honours research projects.

 

2. Master's research projects.

Undergraduate students in Germany may apply for funding from the DAAD, which will fund 1-2 years of study abroad (ideal for an Honours and/or Masters project).

3. Externally-funded research visits, e.g.:

US citizens holding a Bachelor's degree are encouraged to apply for a Fulbright Graduate Award, which will fund a 1-year research stay. 

Undergraduate students:
 

Students who are interested in joining the group should contact Dan. Options include: 

1. Third year Bachelor's student research projects (CHEM330).

2. Summer research scholarships.

As of 2024, we have supported 13 undergraduate students with projects over the past ~6 years.
